Why Budapest?

Why Budapest?

"Get rich with new experiences during in your dental care!"

Based on the price-value conditions Hungary is still one of the most reasonable destinations in Europe.

As the capital of Hungary, Budapest – with its population of over 2 million – is up there among the world’s most romantic, entertaining capitals. Not nicknamed the “Paris of the East” for nothing, it boasts broad boulevards and green parks, grand Art-Nouveau mansions and vibrantly painted churches, lively cafés and world-class music venues. Even today, it is also littered with Roman remains, Turkish baths and Gothic and Baroque architecture. The city is divided into two parts by the meandering Danube, iconically spanned by several stunning bridges. But visiting Budapest is not just about discovering the past; it is also an opportunity to witness a city building its own bright future.

Well-developed infrastructure

Deluxe and five star hotels, well skilled and knowledgeable guides, legendary art of cuisine, widely varied, extraordinary venues. Latest data published by ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) shows that Budapest ranked number 17 among the most popular conference cities in the world in 2014 and ranked number 13 in Europe.

Easy Access

Budapest has an extensive infrastructure. The city can easily and rapidly be reached from all European countries either by road, rail or air. Short flights from all European capitals exist: flight time is less than 2 hours, multiple connections.

Value for money

Based on the price-value conditions Hungary is still one of the most reasonable destinations in Europe. Budapest is the finest of European traditions with competive pricing, high quality accommodation facilities, unique venues and has long been proven the expertise of Hungarian professionals. At the same time, Hungary was the 32nd destination on the list of the most preferred countries around the world for international business events and conferences in 2013.

Budapest Spa Capital of Europe

Budapest has several nicknames, like the Paris of East or the Pearl of the Danube, and also the City of Spas. Thanks to a unique geological feature, Budapest ‘sits’ on over 100 thermal springs that feed the city’s famous bathhouses. Thermal baths in Budapest usually have one or two main pools and several smaller pools with different water temperatures. Many baths also have normal swimming pools and outdoor pools. But, thermal baths in Budapest offer more than just pools, there are saunas, steam baths, aroma cabins, massage parlors as well as on-site health care professionals who offer physiotherapy and aqua-therapy. That being said, you don’t have to have any ailments to appreciate the relaxing waters of Budapest. Thermal baths are open to the general public and are a great way to relax and wind down after a day of touring the city.

Restaurants and Hungarian specialties

Budapest has many Hungarian and foreign restaurants and also many fast food restaurants. You can find streets and neighborhoods specialized in catering and cafes, for example: Liszt Ferenc square and Ráday street.

During the summer, restaurants, cafes and pubs run outdoor terraces. They are not necessarily the best places to have a great dining experience as they target tourists with expensive menus but there are still a few affordable restaurants.

Places to taste the excellent Hungarian wines

Hungary has 20 wine regions; the best known are Tokaj, Eger, Szekszárd and Villány. The best place to find them is to go into the cellar of the Buda Castle where a sommelier will tell you great stories about the wines while sampling delicious white wines and red wines. If you have time try Etyek village, west from Budapest. A direct transfer takes you to the town and you can discover the wineries, meet the producers and taste their wines. The program ends with an excellent dinner, and then a car takes you back to Budapest.
